Meraki International Electronics Trading LLC – Dubai Silicon Oasis are looking for an Accountant for our construction company who will contribute to the efficient and effective workings of the finance department by executing daily tasks.
Provides Financial Information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
Accountant General Job Duties.
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Preparing Quotations, LPOs and Estimations.
- Preparing asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents
- Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
- Contributes to Team Effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Strategic Initiative Responsibilities:
- Creating new accounting/operations procedures to prepare and manage rapidly growing entity and the evolving business structure.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners including banks, title companies, etc. that will support and grow the business
- Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Must be a strong and organized leader with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.
Specific requirements include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and/or finance required.
- Experience as a Estimator in a Construction Company is a MUST with 1 to 2 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience in job cost accounting and financial reporting.
- 1 to 2 years on Construction Management or General Contracting or Subcontractor industry experience.
Also Proficient in MS-Office and Outlook.

Salary: AED2,500.00 to AED3,000.00 /month
