Host/Hostess, Cashiers, service & Waiter/Waitress

We are looking to hire attentive & friendly Host /Hostess, Cashiers, & Waiter/Waitress. You will greet guests as they enter and show them to their table or waiting area. You will also engage with guests to ensure their dining experience was to the highest standard. Part of the job responsibilities is to assist the restaurant team with billing tables, receiving payments and cashing up at the end of the shift as well as supporting the restaurant team in service if required.

• Expected Start Date: 18th  Jan 2021
• Hours: Full Time – 9hrs per day / 6 days per week
• Location: Al Fahidi Historical District, Dubai
• Reports To: General Manager / Assistant General Manager

Main duties

• Greeting guests as they enter the restaurant
• Seating and providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions
• Engaging with guests to ensure they’re happy with food and service
• Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them
• Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions
• Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed
• Promoting to guests other services offered by the company

Experience required

• Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all restaurant staff
• Excellent organisational skills
• Neat appearance and upkeep of uniform
• Able to safely lift and easily manoeuvre trays of food when necessary
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
• Ability to promote and make suggestions for other services and activities
