JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:
- Wash, peel, cut, prep, and package various fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure produce
- Apply labels to packaging
- Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
- Follow company safety and food safety procedures.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
- Accurately record and document equipment readings
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment
- Must have good attendance
- Must be able to follow verbal instructions and respond to management direction
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently exposed to slippery, wet, and cold (35 degrees) conditions. The employees work will be done in a fast paced environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds frequently. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use fingers and hands to handle and cut produce; reach and carry with hands and arms.
