DULSCO is hiring Meter Technicians for our Utility client based in UAE.
Job Purpose: To carryout technical connection (and maintenance) activities of the consumer meters supporting the activities of the team within which the role operates to ensure their reliability, and efficiency. To read and record the Electricity and Water consumption from houses, companies and governmental bodies and to ensure the accurate collection of Company’s service cost.
Job responsibilities:
• Read devices, record and review readings of electricity and water consumption from various locations including housing, companies and governmental bodies in order to have accurate
readings and reflect actual consumptions on billings.
• Monitor the physical condition of meters/instruments so that they are in a suitable condition.
• Monitor the quality of new/repaired meters within defined limits so that any deviations or abnormalities are identified and corrected as soon as possible.
• Attend and report any abnormalities (violations), if found.
• Carry out meter connections to ensure prompt and immediate response to customer requests.
• Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Follow all relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions so that personal safety/ the safety of others is not jeopardised and a certain minimum level of product/service quality and environmental impact can be guaranteed.
Ideal candidate must have:
• Education qualification – Diploma with Electrical background
• Valid UAE Driving license is required.
• Any nationality are welcome to apply, preferably male candidates
• Adequate training will be provided upon joining.
