Desired Profile
- Pool Lifeguard and First Aid certified by Dubai Authorities
- At least 4 years of related work experience in UAE
- Preferred working experience in school
- Able to write and speak in English
- Candidates must be present in UAE while applying (on tourist/visit/resident visa)
Job Description
- Provide water first aid/basic life support to adults and children including the use of AED and manual breathing kit
- Provide assistance to injured students until the arrival of emergency medical services
- Use appropriate rescue techniques if observing swimmers in need of assistance
- Observe the pool area for dangerous conditions, unusual or unsafe activities, and swimmers who are struggling
- Ensure that the rules and regulations of the school are being followed by the swimmers
- Be aware of possible situations where students are not able to safely participate in an activity and inform the teacher
- Support and cooperate with PE teachers during the swimming lessons
- Wash, mop, and clean the pool deck area
- Clean swimming pool if required
- Maintain the water chemical balance at all times
- Perform water analysis and maintain records
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
- Follow our school safety and security policies
- Perform other job related tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
Physical Tasks:
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighting less than or equal 25 kg without assistance
- Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 50 kg
- Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
- Move at a speed that is required to respond to emergency situations
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e. g., to identify defects)
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps
