Job Summary
- Previous work experience as Barista in a high volume fast paced Café
- Extensive experience making all kinds of beverages as per laid down standards and procedures of the company.
- Prepare hot beverages for the customers and ensure drinks/beverages are prepared as per Karak Gholam standards.
- To have full knowledge of all menu and beverage items, ingredients and preparation methods.
- Proactively seeks and learns about the products, recipes and other food and beverages being served in the Café.
- With no exception will strictly comply with all hygiene, sanitation and food safety guidelines as laid out by the Company, in line with local Country Laws, and regulations. This includes food expiration, fire and first aid regulations.
- Ensures that maintenance issues or hazards are escalated to the Manager where appropriate
- Adheres to all other service standards and procedures (Manuals / SOP) of Karak Gholam
- Checks the quality and consistency of beverages before they are served to ensure consistency as per Karak Gholam standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Café area through disposing of all waste, clearing and cleaning all glassware, and wiping down bar and preparation areas
- Must have a strong knowledge of drink preparation and applicable health standards
- Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.
- Informs the manager on duty of any operational inconsistencies
